To begin or terminate water service, call the Village Hall at 630-837-0800. One monthly bill is sent for both water and sewer service. If payment is not made by the due date, a penalty equal to 10% of the bill will be added.
A 10% discount is available to senior citizens at 65 years of age or older; information for the senior discount is available from the water department.
Water bills may be paid:
~ at the Main Officer during regular business hours or, if paying by check, through the outside, drive-up depository box (light grey) located just northeast of the front door of Village Hall.

To add a tenant’s name to the account for water and sewer service, the Tenant Application for Residential Water & Sewer Service form must be completed and submitted to the Water Department. The information will also be used to contact the owner when the tenant requests a final bill.

Water & Sewer Rates
Both water rates and sewer rates increased on May 1, 2018. The water rate increased by 27% overall. The new water rate is $9.70 per 1,000 gallons.
Sewer rates for Cook County increased 24% to $13.71 plus $1.14 per 1,000 gallons; for DuPage County the increase is 30% to $16.94 plus $3.03 per 1,000 gallons; and for Kane County the increase is 8% to $11.94 plus $0.99 per 1,000 gallons. In Kane County, an additional amount is collected for the Fox River Water Reclamation District; residential accounts pay $2.41 per 1,000 gallons.
