1991 Centennial Parade Revisited - Sunday 7/5 at 1 p.m.
The 4th of July parade and festival that Bartlett has known since 1991 began as a way to celebrate the Village’s 100 years of incorporation. That inaugural year, the one-hour parade featuring floats, dignitaries, bands and more was recorded and saved for the history books.
The Bartlett History Museum is revisiting that year’s parade and reshowing it with updates included! What are Bartlett’s centennial triplets up to today? Hear marching memories from those who participated. Learn about Bartlett’s 4th of July history. Tune in Sunday, July 5 at 1 p.m. to relive memories, make some new ones and perhaps catch a glimpse of yourself! The parade video will be available on the Village Facebook page, the Discover Bartlett Facebook page, the Village of Bartlett Museums Facebook page, Bartlett's You Tube channel, https://youtu.be/H3hTQLIXHj4 and on Comcast channel 17 or AT&T channel 99.
