Notice is hereby given that The Village of Bartlett, Cook, DuPage and Kane Counties, IL. Will receive sealed bids at the main office of the Village of Bartlett, 228 S. Main Street, Bartlett, IL. 60103, until 10:00 A.M. on Friday, October 4, 2019 (This is an updataed date) at which time bids will be publicly opened and read. Bids will be acted upon at such time and place as can be scheduled for Board action.


The Project will be known as the Apple Orchard Pump Station Upgrade. The proposed work includes, but is not limited to; Furnishing of materials, labor and equipment to provide an existing lift station upgrade, which includes reconfigured existing Wetwell with new reinforced concrete Wetwell risers, top slab with access hatches, two (2) new submersible pumps, ductile iron piping, related hardware and appurtenances and new above-grade pump controls, new reinforced concrete valve vault and new reinforced concrete vault with a magnetic flow-meter.


Prospective bidders may obtain plans and specifications for use and submission from the Village's Web Site There is no fee for downloading the files. For answers to any questions you may contact the Public Works Department at (630-837-0811).

Any interested contractors must attend the mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting that will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 1:30 pm at the project site (990 IL. Rt. 59, Bartlett). A location map for reference is included within the bid package.

All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee of five percent (5%) of the total bid price.

The proposals must be returned to the Village Hall 228 S. Main St. where the bids shall be read aloud on the date as noted above. It is the contractor’s responsibility to ensure that their bid proposal is in on time. The Village Hall is open Monday thru Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

The President and Board of Trustees reserve the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all bids.
