Project Bid Tabulations

At the 2/19/2019 meeting, the Board approved a contract between the Village of Bartlett and Schroeder Asphalt Services Inc. for the construction of the Bartlett/IDNR bicycle paths.


Notice is hereby given that The Village of Bartlett, Cook, DuPage and Kane Counties, IL. will receive sealed bids at the main office of the Village of Bartlett, 228 S. Main Street, Bartlett, IL. 60103, until 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at which time bids will be publicly opened and read. Bids will be acted upon at such time and place as can be scheduled for Board action.


The Project will be known as Village of Bartlett/IDNR Bicycle Paths. There are two different paths to be constructed for this project. The first path will be a 10’ wide and 845’ length fine aggregate path connecting the Lakewood Mill asphalt path to the James Phillip State Park path and the second a 10’ wide and 676’ length fine aggregate path connecting Glen A. Koehler Fields path to the James Phillip State Park path. The general location for the project is north of Stearns Road, East of Illinois Route 25 and South of West Bartlett Road.


Prospective bidders may obtain plans and specifications for their use and submission from the Village’s websiteRegistration is Required. No fee is required for downloading the files. For answers to any questions you may contact the Public Works Department at (630) 837-0811 Monday thru Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price.

The proposals must be returned to the Village Hall 228 S. Main St. where the bids shall be read aloud on the date as noted above.

The President and Board of Trustees reserve the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all bids.
