Bartlett Ranked 9th Safest City in U.S.
The Village of Bartlett was recently ranked as the ninth safest city in America according to the leading all-in-one real estate market data platform NeighborhoodScout. Only three cities in Illinois ranked in the top ten of NeighborhoodScout’s 100 safest cities in America.
Bartlett is one of the safest places in the country to live for its population size and is safer than 87% of the cities and towns in the United States based on any population size according to NeighborhoodScout’s analysis of FBI crime statistics. NeighborhoodScout also found Bartlett’s crime rate is one of the lowest in the country for its population size. The chance of becoming a victim of a crime in Bartlett is 1 in 176 compared to the U.S. average of 1 in 36 across communities from the largest to the smallest.
NeighborhoodScout’s research focused on the 100 safest cities in America with a population of 25,000 or more people, based on the total number of property and violent crimes per 1,000 residents that were reported to the FBI during the 2017 calendar year and released in September 2018.
