World War I Walk

- Location: Bartlett Depot Museum
100 W. Railroad Ave
Bartlett, Illinois 60103
Nineteen Yanks left for military service from Bartlett’s original train depot during World War I, heading to training camps in the south and, for most, combat overseas. Walk in the same footsteps as these soldiers and experience the Village as they did. Learn about these local men, see where some lived and worked, and hear about the homefront efforts of the families and friends they left behind.
On Wednesday, 10/17, stroll through the heart of old Bartlett with Museum Director Pam Rohleder and hear the stories of the Great War. The free walk will step off from the Bartlett Depot Museum, 100 Railroad Avenue, at 10 a.m. and last about 75 minutes. Wear comfortable shoes. Register by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or call 630-837-0800.
