Artist Reception at Village Hall Gallery

Arts in Bartlett presents a new art exhibit “MoDa, Mother and Daughter Together” by Wheaton resident Terri Shimkus and daughter Danielle Hepko, from July 2 through August 31 at the Bartlett  Village Hall 2nd floor gallery. Everyone is invited to meet the artists at this 7/17 free reception at Bartlett Village Hall.
Dream catchers - Shimkus-Hepko exhibit

Artist Shimkus says, "The inspiration for this art show was completed in 2002 when Danielle and I created our first major piece together, 'Rainbow Dripping.' A simple work really, created with watercolors and ice cubes, but I feel indicative of our styles even today. Sixteen years later we still create art in our spare time and thought it would be fun to exhibit together. The pieces in this show are a culmination of our separate works over the years, new pieces we have created together, and our current solo projects."

The Village Hall exhibit is free and open to the public during regular Village Hall hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon. For more information, call 630-372-4152 or go to
