Left to Right: Amelia and Elizabeth, daughters of Bartlett farmer Henry and wife Caroline Niewisch, circa 1901   Elsie Olhaber Krumfuss holding daughter Ruth, in the backyard of their Bartlett home, 1918.   Elsie Ohlhaber Krumfuss, 1891-1962. Lifetime Bartlett resident born in the year of the Village's incorporation. Elsie attended Bartlett School and Immanuel United Church of Christ. She married local boy Gus Krumfuss and had two daughters Ruth and Carol.

Elsie Krumfuss and daughter Ruth watch a Bartlett Cubs baseball game in Bartlett Park. Gus Krumfuss, Elise's husband, played on the team for many years.

 

  The Baxmanns pose in front of the family homestead. The home still stands today at the corner of Western and Oneida Aves.
