The Bartlett Farmers Market is operated by the Village of Bartlett during the summer months. The market is held on Friday afternoons from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Bartlett Town Center, at the corner of Main Street and Railroad Avenue. Parking for the market is available in the Village Hall parking lot as well as behind the Town Center commercial building.
The 2010 Bartlett Farmers Market opened for the season on June 4 and will run through September 10. The Bartlett Library will be back again this year, with children’s readings at 3 p.m. every Friday. Book choices include Vegetable Garden; Flower Garden, The Carrot Seed, Growing Vegetable Soup, The Surprise Garden, The Enormous Watermelon, Over in the Meadow, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, I Love the Animals, The Itsy Bitsy Spider, Click, Clack Moo: Cows that type, Today is Monday, Up, Down, and Around, My Five Senses, It’s Pumpkin Time. These are just a few of the popular titles that the library will read, so come check out your favorites!
If it’s entertainment you’re looking for, the Market will have balloon animals, juggling, the ever popular kids’ crafts, and much, much more!
