Main Office
The Main Office provides a wide variety of services to the citizens of Bartlett. These services include: accepting payment for water bills and parking citations; handling commuter permit parking, real estate transfer fees and building permit fees; issuing vehicle stickers, dog tags, contractor licenses, business licenses, and on street solicitor’s permits. The office sells yard waste bags, comprehensive plans and maps, zoning ordinances, zoning maps, subdivision ordinances and building codebooks and supports the Bartlett History Museum by selling “Cat’s Meow” historic building replicas and other items. Handing out new resident packets, taking applications for RTA senior citizen passes, issuing garage sale permits, distributing recycling containers and registering resident voters for Cook and DuPage County are free services of the Main Office. In addition, this department can process and collect fees for Freedom of Information requests.
The Main Office also serves as the reception office for all incoming telephone calls and is the first contact for an average of 2,000 in-person customers per month. They are prompt and courteous in greeting all of these Village Hall callers and visitors, and staff members serve as an important resource for people seeking information about the Village.
