NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that the Village of Bartlett, Cook, DuPage and Kane Counties, IL will receive sealed bids at the BARTLETT VILLAGE HALL, at the MAIN OFFICE, 228 S. Main Street, Bartlett, IL  60103, until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.  Bids will be acted upon at such time and place as may then be fixed.  Bids received after 11:00 a.m. will be returned unopened. 

DESCRIPTION OF BID
The bid consists of removing and replacing a Distributor Box for the Tertiary Filter System at the Bartlett Wastewater Treatment Plant.

INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS
Bids must be made on the Bidding Forms and in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.  The Contract Documents, of which the Bid Forms are a part, are available at the BARTLETT VILLAGE HALL, at the MAIN OFFICE, 228 S. Main Street, Bartlett, Illinois 60103.  All Bids submitted must be accompanied by a 10% bid security or bid bond.  Bids submitted shall remain open subject to acceptance for sixty (60) days following the date scheduled for the opening of Bids.

PRE-BID MEETING
A Pre-bid meeting concerning this project will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Bartlett Public Works Administration Building, 1150 Bittersweet Drive, Bartlett, IL 60103.  Interested Bidders are urged to attend.

The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Bartlett reserve the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in any Bid, and to make an award in any manner consistent with law, to any responsive, responsible Bidder deemed in the best interest of the Village of Bartlett.
