See Updated Services with New Groot Contract

The Village Board has approved a 5-year contract with new waste hauler Groot Industries (effective 9/11/2017, Groot Industries completed the purchase of many Republic Services accounts, including the Village of Bartlett) that will add services and save residents money. In addition to the current collection of refuse, yard waste, leaves and recycling, Groot will collect electronics for recycling and provide weekly brush pickup from April through November. Single family homes will see a savings of $52.44 per year and multi-family units will save $46.08 per year.

All of Bartlett's Republic Services accounts are being transitioned to Groot/Waste Connections. If you would like to view and/or pay your bills online, you will need to enroll on Groot's online bill pay website, www.wcicustomer.com/groot.

*Prior to receiving your first invoice from Groot, you can enroll by entering your old Republic account number. Your new account number and invoice number will be automatically filled in to allow you to complete the enrollment process.
*Once you receive your new invoice from Groot, you can enroll by going to groot.com and clicking on YOUR ACCOUNT. Please use your new account and the new invoice number.
*Due date is "on receipt," which is considered to be within five days of the date the invoice is loaded to the website.

Also, account numbers and the remittance address have changed. Please update your records to reflect your new account number and update the remittance address to PO Box 660177, Dallas, TX 75266-0177. If you pay your bill through your bank or credit union's online bill pay, be sure to update your account number and the remittance address.

Another feature that is offered for bill pay is an automated phone system to pay by credit card. You can call (toll free) 855-569-2719 and pay your bill with Visa, MasterCard or American Express, 24 hours a day/7 days a week. You will need both your new account number and the invoice number.
