METRA Parking Made Easier - More Quarterly Permits
A new mobile pay app plus a parking lot reconfiguration equals a faster, easier and more efficient commute for Bartlett METRA riders.
Increased Permit Parking
The Village of Bartlett is offering more Metra train commuters the option to purchase quarterly parking permits instead of having to pay the Metra daily parking fee. The new permit parking areas went into effect on Friday, 9/1; see the new areas below. Parking permits for the last quarter of this year, October - December, are still available at bartlettpermits.rmcpay.com.
Passport Mobile Parking Payment App for METRA Riders
The Village of Bartlett is now offering Metra train commuters the option to pay for their daily parking space by utilizing the PassportParking mobile pay application. The PassportParking mobile pay application can be downloaded on a smartphone or accessed online on your computer by visiting www.ppprk.com.
PassportParking mobile pay users will need to sign up for the service by verifying their mobile phone number or email address, creating a four digit PIN number to sign into the service, entering “6302” as the zone number posted at the Bartlett Metra commuter lot and entering their parking stall space number. Please be aware PassportParking will charge Metra train commuters an additional 32 cents as a convenience fee for using its service. Metra riders also can continue to use the pay boxes at the train depot to pay for their daily parking stall space if they do not want to be charged the additional fee for using the PassportParking mobile pay application.
Village employees will be located in the parking lots during the of implementation of these new parking improvements to help with the transition. Contact the Village of Bartlett at 630-837-0800 if you have any questions about quarterly parking permits or the PassportParking mobile pay option.
